Mersey TV orders Hamlet HD waveform monitors

The digital signal processing circuitry of the Hamlet 292WVA ensures stable and reliable measurement even when the unit is used in the field.

British production company Mersey Television has ordered two new LCD Scope 292WVA waveform monitors from Hamlet Video International.

The Hamlet LCD Scope provides precision measurements of both HD and SD digital video and audio signals, using an integral high resolution liquid crystal display. For portable applications, it eliminates the problems associated with CRTs, such as focus and astigmatism.

Removing the CRT also saves considerable weight and depth. The 292WVA is about 6in deep. The digital signal processing circuitry ensures stable and reliable measurement even when the unit is used in the field.
