Media 100 releases HD version 10.1 for HD, SD editing

Media 100 has released Media 100 HD version 10.1.

The latest version includes a new Media 100 software codec and other key enhancements, including:

  • A new software codec that allows Adobe After Effects and other third-party packages to render QuickTime movies to drop into a Media 100 HD project for editing.
  • QuickTime V out support, which makes fast previews possible using Media 100 hardware to playback any QuickTime movie on an NTSC, PAL or HD monitor while still working inside After Effects.
  • HD Playback, which enables real-time HD playback for flip, flop and color effects using a draft mode for capturing or viewing HD.
