Link Research to launch HD wireless camera system

Deliveries of the digital wireless HD camera system are planned for the first quarter of 2006.
Link Research will show LinkHD, its first HD digital wireless camera system at IBC2005.

The company has added a new HD receiver to the prototype transmitter displayed at NAB2005. It is now ready to accept orders for the complete HD wireless camera system. Deliveries are planned for the first quarter of 2006.

LinkHD maintains the full detail and resolution of HD format TV pictures throughout transmission. Link Research has achieved this by using its MPEG compression and modulation techniques. The result? A high definition wireless camera system with low transmission delay, a low-power requirement and a robust diversity signal.
