Inlet’s Fathom optimized for content creation and distribution

Inlet Technologies just released Fathom 3.5, its encoding platform for VC-1, Windows Media, AVC and Flash files. The system offers real-time processing speed of HD digital files.

Fathom 3.5 helps content creators and new media distributors create new business opportunities by supporting more file formats than before. It also helps users improve internal workflow through enhanced global settings, automation improvements and advanced image support.

New format support includes the creation of compliant HD DVD video assets (VC1 elementary streams) ready for authoring, full MPEG-2 export and QuickTime ingest for conversion to any supported format including Windows Media, AVI, Flash, MPEG-2, H.264 and MPEG-4.
