Ikegami to feature new GFSERIES at IBC2008

September 9, 2008

Ikegami will make the European debut of its GFSERIES tapeless HD/SD acquisition solution at IBC2008 in Amsterdam this week.

Developed with Toshiba, the GFSERIES includes the GFCAM HDS-V10 tapeless camcorder, the GFSTATION GFS-V10 flash memory recorder and the GFPAK high-capacity flash media. The GFSERIES tapeless HD/SD system features an open-codec HD/SD architecture.

The HDS-V10 is a 3-CCD camcorder supporting 1080i or 720p HD with multiple digital recording modes. The GFS-V10 is a flash media-based central video management and recording system. Both use GFPAK media, a removable flash memory cartridge with up to 64GB capacity, and a USB port for access.

Ikegami also will show the GFSTATION portable; GFPLAYER, a multiformat player; and GFADAPTER; designed for connecting with NLE and GF Media Manager software.
