Harris introduces 3Gb/s-ready HD broadcast converter

Harris has introduced the XHD-3903 HDTV converter for its NEO advanced application modular platform.

The HDTV converter offers built-in 3Gb/s 1080p 50/59.94 processing and conversion capabilities.

The XHD-3903 is available in multiple configurations, including up/down/crossconverters, SD/HD aspect ratio converters and dual-channel HD conversion variants.

To support the advanced audio processing HDTV applications frequently require, the modular converter offers optional 8 AES processing for multichannel audio and integrated Dolby decoding and encoding to handle compressed Dolby streams.
