GoPac 2 COFDM transmit system supports HD, SD

Nucomm has introduced the GoPac 2 multifunctional portable COFDM transmit system, designed to deliver HD or SD video for ENG or sports coverage.

The GoPac2 system is based on Nucomm's CamPac 2 wireless camera transmitter.

The GoPac 2 package offers features such as:

  • integrated HD/SD MPEG-2 encoding with low latency
  • variable bandwidth COFDM (5MHz to 24MHz)
  • multiband operation (2GHz/7GHz)
  • variable RF output to 5W
  • remote control via a removable front panel.

The GoPac 2 consists of the CamPac 2 wireless camera transmitter and its companion GoPac 2 amplifier docking station. The CamPac 2 can be used as a wireless camera transmitter or attached via a standard Anton Bauer or Sony V-Clip connection to the GoPac 2 amplifier where it can be operated on a tripod or in a news vehicle.
