Gepco expands its fiber-optic cable production

Recognizing the need for improved SMPTE hybrid fiber-optic cabling and interconnects to support the growing demand for HD production, Gepco International is expanding its fiber production capabilities.

The company has undertaken a companywide initiative to increase its production capabilities. This includes the latest in fiber-optic contact polishing. Combined with additional equipment, personnel and customized cable management techniques, Gepco has significantly increased its assembly throughput.

Gepco's complete hybrid fiber line now includes cable assemblies terminated with Lemo or Canare connectors, distribution rack systems, bulk cable and connectors and breakout cable assembly solutions. In addition, Gepco offers a cable repair service for the repair and maintenance of existing fiber-optic cables.

The company also specializes in manufacturing custom cable assemblies, panels, patch bay harnesses and breakout boxes.
