Gefen unveils dual link DVI solutions

Gefen has introduced three new dual link DVI solutions for post-production applications using 30in Apple or Dell displays with dual link DVI capability.

These displays are capable of sustaining digital video resolutions up to 3840 x 2400, 1080p or 2K using a 29-pin DVI-I female connector.

Gefen’s 4x1 DVI DL switcher allows access to four computers using one dual link DVI display. Computers are controlled by a single keyboard/mouse connected through the high speed USB 2.0 port. Controlled by IR remote or front-panel button with parallel remote and serial control, the switch between computers is instant.

A 2x2 DVI DL switcher connects two computers to two dual link DVI displays, giving the user access to both computers from the one workstation with USB 2.0 keyboard/mouse control.

The Gefen 1:2 DVI DL splitter distributes two identical dual link DVI signals using one source.
