FOR-A to roll out new 3G up/down/crossconverter

FOR-A will introduce the UFM-30UDC up/down/crossconverter and UFM30DDA video distribution amplifier to its 3Gb/s upgradable UFM-30 series during IBC2009.

The new UFM-30UDC converter is equipped with 3G HD/SD-SDI I/O and an analog composite I/O for monitoring. It supports 3G Levels A and B and up to eight channels of embedded audio I/O and features a built-in frame synchronizer and aspect ratio converter.

The new UFM-30DDA video distribution amplifier allows for a single input to be distributed up to 11 ways through the use of the UFM-3DDAEX. It supports data rates of SDI 270Mb/s, 1.5Gb/s and 3Gb/s, and reclocks and equalizes 3G HD/SD-SDI signals to reduce noise and interference. The UFM-30DDA supports a DVB-ASI bit rate of 270Mb/s.

See FOR-A at IBC2009 in Stands 2.A51 and 2.B59.
