FOR-A to introduce new multiformat frame-rate converter

FOR-A will unveil the FRC-8000, a multiformat frame-rate converter that is equipped with a new image processing board to perform HD and SD format conversion, at the NAB Show.

The FRC-8000 offers up/down/crossconversion between a wide range of format signals as well as motion compensation processing.

FOR-A also will make the U.S. debut of two new switchers, the HVS-5400 4M/E model of the company’s flagship digital video switcher with native support for 3Gb/s 1080p signals and the 1M/E HVS-300HS HD/SD portable multiformat video switcher with built-in multiviewer.
