Fine Point Broadcast acquires EVS XT[2] HD production, playout servers

Broadcast TV equipment specialist Fine Point Broadcast has purchased eight EVS XT[2] HD production and playout servers. The UK rental company ordered the production servers to answer the growing demand for HD broadcast production in the UK.

The EVS XT[2] production server and its related software applications offer the reliability and flexibility required in any broadcast production environment. Built on an open architecture model, the XT[2] server provides broadcasters with full integration into any existing broadcast infrastructure for live, near-live and studio production applications in either SD or HD.
