EVS adds new functionality to sports technology

EVS continues to improve its technology for sports production. Among the latest innovations to the XT[2]-LSM slow-motion system, which will be available this month, are the ability to create and display 3-D live replays, new slow-motion and clipping functions, 1080p 50/60Hz (SMPTE372M) recording and playback management, and control of ultra slow-motion HD cameras through the EVS RemoteLSM controller.

This new integration with hypermotion cameras allows live sport operators to manage all functions, such as recording, replay and clipping, directly from the EVS remote controller.

These new capabilities for sport broadcasting will be available on all existing XT[2]-LSM units, as well as any new ones sold, as part of a new Multicam 10 software package release.
