Emerge MPX1000 widens reach of HD networks

The Avocent Emerge MPX1000 extends HD video and audio from one source to more destinations in wired or wireless configurations.

The multipoint extender provides digital picture and sound content delivery to displays for presentation and digital signage applications.

The Avocent Emerge MPX1000 HD, which works for destinations incorporating High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) technology, supports transmission of graphics, HD video, audio and control data to as many as eight wireless or LAN connected receivers.

The MPX1000 HD multipoint extender includes a transmitter and receiver. Other interchangeable modules support input and output for composite video, component video or computer graphics.
