DTS Digital Images turns to Xytech to manage resources

Film restoration services provider DTS Digital Images has selected Xytech Systems’ software to manage its workflow and post-production operations, Xytech said last week.

DTS Digital Images provides services to a wide range of entertainment customers, including film restoration, digital blowups and image processing for Digital Intermediate and HD compression. DTS Digital Images is known for remastering, frame-by-frame, some of the entertainment industries’ most prestigious films.

DTS Digital Images will be using the MetaVault Library, Scheduling, Time Card and Bidding modules of Xytech Enterprise to manage scheduling and tracking of resources and to determine the time and cost required for film restoration work. The Xytech Data Interface Engine also will be used to connect with the in-house enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems as well as other applications within the facility.
