DK-Technologies features new dual-link test signal generator module

DK-Technologies showcased its PT8613 dual-link test signal generator module for the PT5300 HD-SD sync generator during IBC2007.

The PT8613 uses 1080p progressive scanning and 4:4:4 sampled component HD signals with up to 12-bit video resolution.

Specifically designed to work with DK’s PT5300 sync and test signal generator mainframe, the PT8613 provides two independent multisystem generators each capable of providing configurable video interface systems as HD dual link, HD single link and SD. The generated video components can be RGB 4:4:4, YCbCr 4:4:4 or YCbCr 4:2:2, and color resolution can be configured to 12-bits or 10-bits.

Each generator can be timed independently in an interval of +/- 0.5 frames relative to the mainframe genlock time reference to account for cable length and buffers in the signal path.
