Deltacast to demo latest version of DELTA-sport HD platform

Deltacast will demonstrate its new DELTA-sport HD 6.2 with 3D overlay generation at Sportel Monaco beginning Oct. 12.

This new release provides an advanced 3D rendering engine that allows integration of complex 3D animated objects and scenes in the field view. Models can be imported directly from a large set of 3D modeling software.

High-performance camera tracking and real-time rendering effects allow 3D objects to be present and stable, Deltacast said. Rendering effects include simulated reflections, material effects and virtual lightning control.

DELTA-sport HD is a sensor-free system with reliable rule-checking system based on image processing and dedicated to display the virtual graphics during soccer live production. It allows fast generation of offside lines and uses accurate algorithms, allowing instantaneous verification of the overlays by the operator.
