Crawford originates All Sports Network in Asia

The Yes TV Network, which runs and operates a number of sports channels from Hong Kong, has selected Crawford Satellite Services to provide HD origination services for a new All Sports Network (ASN) being distributed throughout Asia. Crawford said its number of HD sports channels tripled in 2008 and looks to continue to grow this year as well.

From its Atlanta headquarters, Crawford Satellite Services will provide ASN with live and delayed feed integration, 5.1 surround sound, 24/7 engineering support, on-air graphics, MPEG-4 encoding and fiber transmission.

ASN broadcasts 30-plus live games a week which includes NFL, NHL, college football and basketball, March Madness, motorsports, professional bull riding and more. Along with this coverage, the Network hosts pre- and post-game analysis along with news and reviews. ASN is now aggressively rolling out across major TV platforms in Asia.
