Chrosziel unveils MonitorPack

Chrosziel has introduced a ready-to-shoot MonitorPack for the new generation of still/video combo cameras, including the Canon EOS 5D MKII.

With the new generation of cameras, a monitor with flexible adjustment is just as important as a focus pulling device. The new MonitorPack contains a 7in Marshall LCD video monitor with HDMI-input and battery adapter for Sony NP-Q 7.2V battery types, as well as a power supply.

The unit has adjustable frames, center markers, and many other controls for professional use. The monitor and camera are connected by a HDMI cable. An articulated arm with central lock mechanically connects the monitor to a lightweight support.

Two ball joints on the arm are equipped with 1/4in threads. The pack also contains a rechargeable 4000 mAh battery and charger. Tests have shown that the battery is able to supply the monitor for at least 2.5 hours. The charger also works on a 12V car outlet.
