BOXX Technologies adds 64-bit Intel Xeon to workstation offering

BOXX Technologies has announced the addition of the 64-bit Intel Xeon 3.6 processor with 2MB cache to the BOXX 8200 series of workstations and render nodes.

This next-generation Xeon processor allows for 32-bit and 64-bit applications to run simultaneously, offering BOXX customers performance and reliability for forthcoming software such as LightWave 3D and Cakewalk for Microsoft Windows XP Professional X64 OS.
