Boris FX ships Boris FX 9.0

Boris FX has released Boris FX 9.0, a 2-D and 3-D compositing and effects creation plug-in that integrates with industry standard non-linear editing systems.

The new release incorporates a new user interface design, enhancements to the core architecture and several new effects creation tools.

Highlights include:

  • A new user interface that incorporates the look and feel of an NLE for smooth user interaction, a mini timeline in the composite window with keyframe animation controls and "sticky" and "magnetic" windows;
  • More than 100 of the most popular Continuum and Final Effects-compositing and effects filters;
  • New library browser templates
  • NLE hosts support for all Avid models, Canopus EDUIS 4 and Sony Vegas 7;
  • Intel Mac Support.
