Band Pro, Media Distributors announce HD production, workflow open house

Band Pro and Media Distributors will open the doors of their office in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a production acquisition and workflow solutions open house.

Band Pro will showcase Sony’s CineAlta HD equipment, including the F35 (tape and tapeless) production camera, the PDW-F800 XDCAM and the PMW-EX3 fully rigged for digital cinema production.

Band Pro’s team also will be available to discuss data-based recording with Silicon Imaging’s SI-2K camera that has gained acclaim for its performance on “Slumdog Millionaire.”

Media Distributors will preview the Polaris RAID storage solution, the Fusion Drive hybrid recorder/asset management system, and the R-2 Archive Station with RED Rocket card. Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP at rsvp@bandpro.com.
