ATI Technologies announces VSB receiver chips

ATI Technologies has introduced three new VSB receiver chipsets to make HD reception for television sets more affordable.

The Theater 311, Theater 312 and Theater 314 chipset solutions are designed to allow HDTV manufacturers to deliver HDTV signal reception while reducing overall production costs.

The new Theater products provide high-quality VSB reception at affordable prices to all segments of the digital over-the-air (OTA) and digital cable ready (DCR) TV market.
