Archion introduces Synergy HD

Archion, a Los Angeles-based provider of shared storage systems for Avid users, has released Synergy HD, a new HD video storage system.

Synergy HD is a SATA II to FC Raid storage array designed for networking digital video systems in an Avid Unity environment.

Archion said Synergy HD was certified with all versions of Avid Unity, from 3.x through 4.2.x, without requiring software and hardware replacements. Its hardware RAID protection eliminates the need for storage mirroring for protection. The system is pre-configured in units from 4TB to 8TB with two ports of 2GB FC, and is certified with Unity 3.x thru 4.2.x.

Synergy HD is currently certified for Avid Unity, Media Manager, Interplay, Adrenaline HD, Express Pro HD, Symphony Nitris, Meridian, Symphony and Nitris DS.
