Archion announces Synergy HD4 compatibility with Avid Unity MediNetwork 5.0

Archion's new Synergy HD and Synergy HD4 storage solutions are now compatible with the Avid Unity MediaNetwork 5.0 storage system.

The Avid Media Engine, a next-generation system architecture used for real-time shared storage, powers the Avid Unity MediaNetwork 5.0 system. By consolidating several hardware components into a single, integrated file management system and storage server, the MediaNetwork 5.0 system delivers twice the performance of previous Avid Unity systems while maintaining robust data resiliency.

The Avid Unity MediaNetwork 5.0 system is available in scalable SD and HD configurations, both of which offer GigE connectivity and 4Gb Fibre Channel connectivity, PC and Mac compatibility (Intel-based Mac clients) and storage capacity that can scale from 4TB to 40TB.
