Zandar enhances Predator HD Series with dual HD functionality

Zandar Technologies has enhanced its Predator series of MultiViewers by offering dual HD output functionality, whereby a single MultiViewer can drive one or two displays at native HD resolution. The company has also advanced its UMD and tally processing, fonts, alarming and Z-Controller operations.

The dual HD enhancement at 50Hz and 60Hz applies to the Predator HD4, HD8, HD12 and HD16. Each unit combines a mixture of SD and HD signals, including 720p and 1080i. With a DVI output, another benefit is the cost effectiveness over the use of HD video monitors.

The alarming function has also been enhanced with the addition of border color changes once an alarm is activated. Multisystem configuration and control is simplified with significant enhancements to the Z-Configurator software user interface, and the new Z-Controller software.
