Zandar announces more inputs for Predator MultiViewers
June 14, 2006
Zandar has introduced Predator HD12 and HD16 MultiViewer solutions. Packaged in a compact 2RU, the two new additions complement the Predator HD4 and HD8 MultiViewers presently being used in various broadcasting, production and audio visual installations worldwide.
Able to accept up to 12 or 16 inputs, the features of the new MultiViewers include operation over a LAN, including audio and video monitoring; UMD and tallies; automatic aspect ratio management; auto-sensing of HD-SDI and SDI inputs (up to 1080p); and clock display. In-picture embedded audio metering and alarms also are included.
Various control options comprise Z-Configurator layout editing software for quick and seamless arrangement of inputs on a display device, on-screen display, GPI and the ZRP Zandar remote panel.
For the presentation of images over more than one display device, Zandar offers the ZdH Zandar Dual Head display capability. ZdH allows one system to drive one or two displays, as independent displays or configured as a single virtual monitor wall with spanning capability.
