X2O Media announces entry-level signage system

X2O Media has introduced the Xpresenter Xe, a new digital signage system that blends the broadcast-quality video output of the company’s flagship Xpresenter platform with a Web-like user interface for producing and playing dynamic content for a wide variety of signage applications.

The Xe system is billed as a low-cost solution for point-and-click creation and near-instantaneous deployment of graphics for any application where high quality and simple point-to-point distribution are required.

The system features a library of pre-built, smart templates that eliminate the learning curve and significantly reduce the time it takes to create digital signage applications. These templates can be customized and allow digital signage operators with little technical knowledge or artistic skill to launch broadcast-quality signage.

The templates can support live data feeds, crawling tickers, multiple video windows and overlapping objects. The system employs a Web-like control interface, letting users point-and-click their way to digital signage, with no coding. The system supports any type of display, including TV screens, computer monitors and LCD and plasma displays in both portrait and landscape orientations.
