WJZ-TV chooses CinemaLive HD display for weather segments

WJZ-TV, the CBS owned and operated television station for Baltimore, MD, is now producing its weather segments with CinemaLive HD, the weather display system by AccuWeather. The system will assist WJZ in delivering its viewers accurate, compelling content.

The features include Microsoft Virtual Earth integration. WJZ will take full advantage of the capabilities of CinemaLive HD, using the true 360-degree environment, 3D graphics and modeling, and live-on-every-layer architecture in conjunction with integrated data to produce network-quality segments.

In addition to producing on-air weather content, WJZ also utilizes CinemaLive HD to deliver forecasts, features and video to its Web site.
