Volicon adds modules to Observer

Volicon will show four new modules of its Observer product line that promise to streamline the workflow in TV station marketing and operations departments.

The enhanced search engine module adds closed-captioning text searches, word proximity and fuzzy search and display of CC and video thumbnail search results.

The new QC monitoring module can instantly notify users of any interruption in the broadcast transmission. The master log of audio and video issues can be reviewed by anyone with a PC and system access.

The ad verification and video affidavit module provides access to transmitted ads and proof of airing, and the centralized monitoring and viewing module allows users to verify broadcast quality and review important content such as news from a central location.
