UK's Channel 4 News buys Inscriber’s InfoCaster systems

ITN chose Inscriber’s InfoCaster for Channel 4 News to craft a visual look that appeals to viewers.

The UK's ITN has purchased five Inscriber InfoCaster systems for Channel 4 News. The systems will reside in ITN's London facility for use in displaying graphics and video clips as part of the news studio set.

The InfoCaster quickly creates a multi-zone on-air look. It integrates overlapping regions of crawls, rolls, animations, clocks, live video, clips, graphics and text in multi-zone presentations of news, weather, business and community information.

ITN chose the system for Channel 4 News to quickly create display designs to match news stories and craft a visual look that appeals to viewers. It is used with plasma screens to drive a large video-wall.
