True Visions selects Omneon Med to streamline content workflow

True Visions, a Thai cable and satellite television operator, has selected an Omneon MediaGrid content library to provide central line storage for its facility in Thailand. The MediaGrid system installed at the True Visions facility provides 192TB of storage space for its operations, and also provides the bandwidth to allow more than 100 clients simultaneous and unrestricted access to the content via GigE network.

At True Visions, the MediaGrid system will integrate with multiple Leitch production servers and a Dayang archive management system to simplify workflow by providing central disk-based file storage. True Visions worked with Omneon's local partner, Dayang International, on the installation of the system, which went live shortly after the integration with their archive management system was completed.
