TelVue unveils hosted broadcast service

Broadcasting doesn’t have to be hard to do, expensive, or complicated. Not if you broadcast from the cloud.

TelVue has begun offering a hardware-free, completely hosted broadcast service with all of the capabilities of a traditional broadcast chain in the cloud.

Cloud services now offer broadcasters and media companies instant infrastructure.  With virtual servers and Web accessibility, users can launch a channel from the cloud. The entire workflow becomes Web-accessible: from content acquisition, to transcoding, scheduling, content management to distribution to multiple devices.

TelVue Hosted Broadcast makes it possible to broadcast from anywhere to anywhere with nothing more than an Internet connection.

Features include: Web-based content contribution; automatic transcoding; drag-and-drop scheduling; CableLabs-compliant video and metadata standards; live and VOD distribution to multiple devices; SD and HD capability; 24/7 technical support and future-proofing.
