Sonifex releases rack monitor with Dolby decoder at BVE 2009

Sonifex will release its latest 1RU audio monitor with Dolby Decoding at the BVE show in London. The new version of the RM-4C8 monitor decodes a Dolby E or Dolby Digital audio stream to monitor visually eight or 5.1 audio channels with audio monitoring on any two of those channels.

Additions to the Redbox range include the RB-VHDA8, a one-input, eight-output 3G/HD/SD-SDI distribution amplifier with automatic input detection, reclocking and cable equalization.

Also new, the RB-TGHD is an eight-channel audio tone generator that provides line identification for multichannel audio systems, including BLITS 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound typically used in HDTV broadcasts.
