SeaChange analyzes signals with OmniTek in Shanghai facility

SeaChange International has chosen the OmniTek PQA picture quality analyzer for its Shanghai facility where it has recently invested more than a million dollars to create a state-of-the-art lab dedicated to its broadcast and integration business.

The Omnitek PQA is used to benchmark its codecs with its competitors. The OmniTek PQA is a full-reference picture quality analyzer, which performs detailed analysis of images in all SD and HDTV formats to establish the exact level of image degradation through a processing path. It has been designed for use in a variety of different engineering environments in addition to production line testing.
