Qualstar to show BQ Series video archive at NAB2008

At NAB2008, Qualstar will feature its BQ Series of video archive systems, including the BQ XLS Series that the company recently has expanded to house more than 98,000 hours of DV25 content in 19sq ft of floor space.

The BQ Series leverages Qualstar's robotic tape library expertise to deliver a family of digital video archive systems that can store up to more than a million hours of content. The BQ Series of video archive systems combine a disk for caching and high-performance, digital tape robotic automation to provide fast access to content.

BQ Series systems are certified with leading video archive software packages to insure easy installation and integration with TV station automation software.
