PlayBox to debut H.264 support

PlayBox Technology is expanding the capabilities of its products and playout solutions at IBC2007. The new features to be introduced include adding more flexibility for playout, especially in live operation, more efficient workflows and interface enhancements and technical developments for new compression systems.

Other new features include H.264 support for SD/HD broadcasts; multiformat playout with real-time transitions between clips of different compression formats (MPEG-2, DV and H.264); dedicated graphics previewing from TitleBox for last-minute graphics; and a new version of the CaptureBox Compliance Recorder.
