Pixelmetrix unveils DVStation-Mini TSP transport stream analyzer

At NAB2008, Pixelmetrix launched the DVStation-Mini TSP, a portable transport stream analyzer for DTV compliance testing of terrestrial broadcasting, cable headend testing and satellite uplink contribution and distribution applications.

The DVStation-Mini TSP, which provides test, measurement and monitoring functions, has a single ASI or SMPTE-310 test input. It can be used as a portable test device or as a 1RU rack-mounted unit. Signals can be monitored over a LAN or Internet connection using a simple Web browser or VNC remote user interface.

The DVStation-Mini measures 13.5in by 1.5in, weighs 5.7lbs and offers a full suite of transport stream analysis and monitoring tools. The unit displays video thumbnails and critical audio and video parameters in a concise and clear format.
