Pixelmetrix releases product upgrades

Pixelmetrix has added new features to the DVStation family of preventative monitoring servers.

The DVStor MPEG transport stream recorder now supports remote viewing of MPEG video over an IP network. Using the free VideoLAN multimedia player, a PC can be used to view the stored video from anywhere on a local area network. The playback function operates concurrently with other DVStor operations such as recording and ASI playout.

The latest software release for the DVStation gives the ability to export PSIP and SI table information. Captured SI table information is saved to a directory on the DVStation hard disk. In addition to a content-rich XML format, the data can also be saved in the summary, detail or hex formats.
