Pebble Beach closes sales across EMEA region

Pebble Beach has closed a number of sales in the EMEA region, including Arabsat, Kuwait and Zee TV.

In Jordan Media City, Pebble Beach will install Neptune automation for the control of Arabsat’s 16 commercial channels. The system uses Harris Nexio servers with a Sony Petasite archive library.

Pebble Beach automation has also been selected for a major tapeless HD facility being built for Kuwait-based media company Dar Al-Watan. The main site will house the largest TV studio in the Middle East, and a second smaller space will contain the HD studios, MCR and two channels of HD playout distributed to homes in the region via satellite. Neptune will manage playout of both channels, controlling a Harris IconMaster and a Miranda Kaleido Alto multi-image display processor for monitoring. The playout server will be an Omneon Spectrum server.

Pebble Beach has also announced its first project in India to install a classic 12-channel playout system for Zee TV.
