Pakistan’s Wateen TV automates playout with Pebble Beach Systems

Pebble Beach Systems is supplying one of its Neptune automation systems to Wateen TV in Pakistan as part of a turnkey solution for a new 15-channel playout center. The Neptune system will automate the processes dedicated to content ingest and transmission playout.

Wateen TV’s new 15-channel service is based in a new facility in Lahore. The project incorporates three TV studios, with each studio equipped with four cameras, 2M/E video switchers, a sound mixer and studio lighting equipment. In addition to the Neptune automation system, Wateen TV has installed Omneon video servers and MediaGrid storage, Vizrt branding, never.no interactive solutions and a BTS traffic system.
