OmniBus to debut iTX software-based master control and automation

OmniBus will reveal three new products and enhancements to existing products at NAB2006:

  • OmniBus iTX replaces all of the functions of a broadcast master control and playout chain in a single software application. Ideal for both SD and HD content, iTX utilizes standard IT hardware and sophisticated software that significantly reduce the investment required to launch and operate a channel. iTX acts as a video server, master control, and graphics and logo inserter with automation, ingest, editing, and basic content management.
  • OmniBus OPUS News & Sports Logging is an integrated set of tools for one-button-press news logging of live and recorded events.
  • OmniBus K2 Inception is an entry level one- to six-channel playout system designed in partnership with Grass Valley, combining the K2 server with Colossus automation software. This preconfigured package includes training and support.
