North Plains DAM supports Apple platform

North Plains Systems’ TeleScope Enterprise digital asset management (DAM) system will now support Apple’s Tiger Server and Xsan, Apple’s 64-bit cluster file system for Xserve RAID storage hardware.

TeleScope Enterprise is a scalable DAM application for the video production, printing and publishing markets. It can be used to integrate and organize media production tools such as Apple’s Final Cut Pro, Adobe’s Creative Suite, Telestream’s FlipFactory and Virage’s VideoLogger.

TeleScope is optimized for Tiger Server, Xserve RAID and Xsan. It provides a Web services-based architecture that connects digital media content with the business processes and business logic. Its SOAP-based APIs and XML gateways integrate with existing enterprise IT investments.
