Marquis Medway to support EVS XT server
September 5, 2007
Marquis Broadcast has added EVS Broadcast Equipment’s XT server to the list of products supported by its Medway media highway system. Using Medway, broadcasters can read and write DNxHD media among EVS XT systems and Avid’s storage and Media Composer editing systems.
Users simply select all or part of an EVS MXF file in the EVS-MXF proprietary exchange format and write directly to Avid storage as DNxHD or IMX-D10. To send media from the Avid to the EVS systems, users generate EVS-MXF media with Medway; EVS XFile software automatically restores this file to the XT server in a native Avid format. All functions are easily accessible via Medway’s user interface.
