Marquis Medway integrates with SGL FlashNet

Marquis Broadcast and Software Generation (SGL) demonstrated SGL’s FlashBrowse proxy creation system and FlashNet content archive and storage management systems integrated with Marquis’ Medway interoperability engine for the first time at IBC2008. Benefits include significant workflow enhancements for users of SGL’s FlashNet archive and storage products.

The integration of Medway with FlashNet systems provides a simple, cost-effective method of moving content between archiving and nonlinear editing environments. Editing systems supported include the Avid Media Composer, Symphony, NewsCutter XP, Adrenaline, Xpress DV and Xpress Pro editing systems as well as Apple Final Cut Pro 6.
