Manzanita Systems to highlight MP2TSAE 4.0

At IBC2008, Manzanita Systems will demonstrate MP2TSAE 4.0, a major upgrade to its MPEG-2 Transport Stream Analyzer Enhanced Version software.

The new release of the flagship analyzer includes IP stream analysis, detects DVB subtitles and teletext, and identifies the presence of closed-captioning in H.264 video. SCTE 35 splice point analysis also has been added. Version 4.0 also offers support for additional audio formats as well as improved H.264 video elementary stream support.

MP2TSAE has both a command line and GUI interface and is designed to be integral in the development, testing and quality assurance of MPEG-2 systems. It performs an analysis of transport streams, verifying their compliance with MPEG-2, DVB, ATSC, or CableLabs standards. The enhanced analyzer can thoroughly detect and log more than 500 different types of warning and error conditions.
