Manreo adds new video recorder module

NETIA is unveiling its new Manreo video recorder module for acquiring and digitizing video from tape. The video recorder module controls the VTR and MPEG-2 encoding with MainConcept. For TV stations and other media companies with large stores of tape-based archives, the addition of the module enables migration to lossless and more secure digital storage systems.

The operator can watch video as the media is being digitized, plus in and out points can be marked to create a clip or even a new video, produced automatically from a series of marked segments.

For more information, visit www.netia.com.
