Leader enjoys strong interest in HD test tools

At IBC2006, Leader Instruments enjoyed strong interest in HD TV and in mobile reception expressed by broadcasters from many countries.

The company’s strategy of supporting all major HD and SD formats in its range of SDI broadcast signal analyzers has been very successful, because its tools enable program producers as well as transmission networks to use a single test instrument in practically any role and any location.

Shown as a new technology exhibit at IBC2005 and now in production for the European market, Leader's LT292 digital line checker allows transmission errors in HD-SDI and SD-SDI signals to be detected, analyzed and logged. The ability to detect freeze frame, color bars, mute audio and test tone, makes this instrument the ideal tool for use in the master control room. It supports the engineer in identifying switching or playout errors as they arise.

ElQuip is European distributor for Leader.
