Inscriber Inca InfoCaster empowers Music Television station with SMS voting

Voice TV, an SBS Broadcasting channel, is an innovative music channel in which the video schedule is determined by viewer feedback from SMS voting on mobile phones. Votes are automatically tabulated, and using Inscriber’s InfoCaster interactive capabilities the appropriate music video is played along with artist and song title through database connection.

The InfoCaster networked solution creates and delivers impressive on-air looks, including multi-zone displays, for cable television broadcasts, digital signage displays and information channels.

SBS Broadcasting digitizes video and creates all graphics in their central London location. Voice TV uses a highly integrated setup with direct connections between the program database and the scheduling system. Video distribution and local graphic content is remotely managed from their centralized location using an InfoCaster network manager.
