Harris to supply ONE integrated HD workflow solution to Mediacontech for Italian news channel

Harris has received an order spanning its HD product portfolio from Mediacontech, a services provider of production and playout facilities, for Italian business and financial news TV channel Class CNBC.

The order includes multiple NEXIO XS HD/SD server systems and Velocity NX craft editors; a Platinum router; an IconMaster master control and branding solution; H-Class ADC playout automation; and the Invenio digital asset management system. The system integrator for this project is Harris’ distributor in Italy Video Systems Engineering (VSE).

Class CNBC is headquartered in Milan and is a joint venture among publishing house Class Editori, NBC Universal and Italy’s commercial television company Mediaset. Class CNBC is broadcast on the SKY Italia satellite platform and streamed on the Internet through the Rosso Alice Web portal.
